Katie & David [Engaged].

Meet Katie & David! David is the son of James who’s stable I’ve been riding at since I was probably about 8 years old. I’ve always wanted to do a couple shoot there and finally got the chance. <3 It was lovely meeting you two.

Jodi & Ryan's Engagement.

These two were super nervous at first, but you’d never be able to tell. They did great! It was so much fun hanging out with you guys and thank you once again for dinner. <3

Kate & Zach. Married!

When we were 13 we camped at Evangeline Campground and used to sneak out of our tent at 2AM. Got caught nearly every time. Now she’s married with a baby on the way. It’s incredible how fast time flies when you sit down for a second and actually look at it.

Sandra & Keith's Wedding.

What. A. Day.

A year ago I did their engagement photos, and now I sit at home looking through their wedding photos. Time goes by so fast. Congratulations you two, I had a lovely time with all of you. <3

Little mentoring goes a long way.

My friend just bought a DSLR and we’ve been meaning to get out so that I can mentor her a bit. When our schedules finally allowed us to hang out we ended up at the beach. I gave her a quick run down of how I use the light and we took turns taking pictures of each other and then when we were finally done came back to my house to I could show her the ropes in Lightroom. Overall it was actually really fun. I didn’t think I’d ever really enjoy teaching someone, and I know I’m not the most amazing photographer out there but I’ve had some people aske me about it, so it’s something I might think about offering next year.  :)

There are a couple shots back in the beginning of this year when I was doing a self portrait project I’ve wanted to get. Mainly me, in a dress, in the water. Selfies are so much easier when you have a human tripod.

And on to some photos I took of her.

And onto some photos that Jenn took of me :) I think she did an excellent job harnessing the power of the sun.

Courtney & Alfred's Engagement Session.

Seriously. These two… are just gems.

Pamela & Casey's Wedding.

Pamela & Casey from yesterday’s wedding. Probably the funniest ceremony I’ve ever been at. Pam poured her heart out during her vows to which Casey replied “ditto”. Between all the jokes, getting kicked off the train tracks, gum on Pam’s shoes and a certain deceased bird, I had a great time hanging out with all of you.

Also, the fellas had the coolest shoes in the world. I very much approved.

Enjoy the moment.

Stunning girl.

Finally on the last leg of editing Sylvia & Jordan’s wedding photos. I cannot get over how stunning Sylvia is. Look at her!

I have another wedding coming up this Saturday, then two more in September then wedding season is over for 2012! Crazy how fast this all goes by. I cannot believe this summer is nearly over. It’s so bittersweet.

Also, just a little reminder - - I’ve had inquiries about next summer and some brides are requesting the same dates as others yet I have not recieved any deposits yet so please get those in to secure your dates for next year. <3

Don’t forget before you book with me I’d like to have a sit down to chat and get to know each other!

Lock down.

I love this.
